Prior to the 2022 vintage, this wine was classed as Premier Grand Cru Classe A. Classified as Premier Grand Cru Classe B from 1996 to 2012.
Expert tasting note: (2022 vintage) "Deep, dark, almost opaque purple-red color. Delicate aromas of red-fruit overlay vanilla notes & ceadry oak. Medium to full-bodied with velvety texture & juicy, mulberry fruit. The palate has a majestic plush-textured assurance & lovely freshness. Tannins are plentiful, fine & gripping. The long, finish is structured but not drying. Juicy mulberry fruit at the end is elegant with sweet spices overlaid by graphite and saline notes." - 04/23 DCAMW
