Expert tasting note: (2022 vintage) "Deep, dark purple-red color loses little intensity to a vivid purple rim. Aromas of cocoa & cedar overlay vivid, high-ripeness black-cherry fruit. The wonderfully fresh palate combines exotic sweet black-cherry fruit with vanilla, cinnamon & cloves. There are underlying graphite notes. The wine is full-bodied, dense, intense, opulent & fragrant. Mouth-watering black-fruit enlivens the finish & the alcohol enhances its exotic cedary spices." - 04/23 DCAMW
