Expert tasting note: (2022 vintage) "The wine has an opaque purple color with a vibrant purple rim, it stains the glass. Lifted aromas are of sweet spices & dark-fruit. Concentrated black fruit on the palate develops into drying graphite then shows licorice concentration. Lovely lifted acidity keeps the wine lively. Earthy & rustic notes with spices are still evident on the finish, but are balanced by juicy dark fruit." - 04/23 DCAMW
