Expert tasting note: (2022 vintage) "Deep, dark black-purple color is not quite opaque, but holds well to a vivid purple rim. Aromas are of vivid dried cranberry with cedary spice touches. The wine is medium-bodied with juicy black fruit (dark-plum & prune) & touches of raisined sur maturite. Cedary sweet-spices add a drying bite to the mid-palate. Alcohol is balanced & warming, the acidity is soft & the structure is tight. The finish is balanced & lasts well." - 04/23 (ep) DCAMW
