Expert tasting note: (2022 vintage) "The wine is a deep, dark, but not quite opaque, purple-red in color. The nose is opulent, ripe & has slightly raisined character. The palate displays vibrant blackcurrant fruit initially which progresses to a bitter licorice core. Rich alcohol is well in balance & the fine tannins give good grip. Mouthwatering cassis fruit on the finish again has a bitter licorice bite to it that lasts well." - 04/23 DCAMW
