Expert tasting note: (2022 vintage) "Deep, dark red-purple with a vivid purple rim, staining the glass when swirled. Aromas are of restrained dark fruit. The palate shows its structure before lovely fresh cassis fruit opens from it. There are integrated oak notes & graphite hints. Alcohol is balanced. The mellow, juicy mid-palate has a very fine structure. Crunchy tannins are balanced by juicy dark-fruit & licorice notes. Dark-fruit resolves into graphite touches at the end." - 04/23 (ep) DCAMW
