Expert tasting note: (2022 vintage) "Deep, dark almost opaque purple-black color which holds well to a vivid purple rim. The aromas are of cedar, coffee & mocha over black fruit. The palate is initially rounded with ripe black-fruit & soft acid. Tannins are fine, but cocoa & coffee touches dry out the mid-palate. The wine is medium to full bodied. Juicy black-cherry & mulberry fruit return on the finish, which ends with a chocolatey richness." - 04/23 (ep) DCAMW
