Expert tasting note: (2022 vintage) "Deep, dark, opaque black-purple color holds superbly to the rim, staining the glass when swirled. The slightly restrained nose harmoniously combines blackcurrant, ripe black-cherry, chocolate & cedar aromas. The palate is fresh with fine-grained tannins giving good grip. Juicy, ripe blackcurrant & black-cherry fruit lingers on the finish alongside a structure of fine tannins & cedary sweet spices. The end of the finish has a graphite character." - 04/23 DCAMW
