Expert tasting note: (2022 vintage) "Deep, dark purple-black color holds very well to a purple rim. Chocolatey black-fruit aromas are quite restrained. The palate ghas a lovely intense freshness, but fine graphite-like tannins soon close it up, leaving an impenetrable graphite mid-palate. Touches of jamy, velvet-textured black-plum & elderberry fruit show on the back palate. The finish has bitter notes that make it mouthwatering, but the bitter notes dominate the end." - 04/23 (ep) DCAMW
