Expert tasting note: (2022 vintage) "Deep, dark purple-black color holds well to a dark-purple rim. Chocolatey aromas overlay ripe, dark black-cherry fruit & exotic, cedary sweet spices. The palate has structure from the outset with ultra-fine grained tannins making the mid-palate drying & giving mouth-watering interactions with the lean cassis fruit. Alcohol seems balanced. Fine tannins give the finish excellent length & leaves mouth-watering black fruit at the end." - 04/23 DCAMW
