Expert tasting note: (2022 vintage) "Deep, dark, almost opaque purple-red. Ripe, rich-black fruits on the nose have a fresh, leafy hint, cedar & hints of tobacco-leaf. The palate shows powerful, concentrated black-plum fruit & is medium to full bodied. The structure is fine & the tannins are smooth. Graphite notes cover a core of sweet & then bitter licorice. The finish is saline in nature, good freshness gives fabulous persistence. The fruit dries out to leave salinity at the end." - 04/23 (ep) DCAMW
