Expert tasting note: (2022 vintage) "The color is a glass-staining opaque purple-black. The rich aromas are of licoricey dark-fruit. The palate has a fine, elegant structure with fine-grained, cedary & elegant tannins. The fruit has a lovely, lively, ripe black-cherry concentration. Alcohol is balanced & the wine has good freshness & a smooth, graphite-textured core. The long finish combines concentrated black-fruit, well integrated cedar & graphite touches." - 04/23 DCAMW
