Expert tasting note: (2022 vintage) "Deep, dark purple-red color with a purple rim. Blackcurrant aromas on the nose are subdued by notes of graphite. The palate has excellent freshness & a rounded, soft, smooth, juicy texture with ripe black-cherry fruit. The fruit is overlaid by oak spices, including slightly astringent white-pepper hints. Alcohol appears balanced. The finish is long & fine with open, plumy fruit, sweet spice & mouth-watering grip. Cassis fruit cuts in at the end." - 04/23 DCAMW
