Expert tasting note: (2022 vintage) "Deep, dark purple-red color, but not opaque. Aromas have an elegant, lifted violet perfume. Lovely freshness lifts crunchy blackcurrant & ripe black-cherry fruit. Notes of cedar and graphite emerge on the mid-palate, however juicy black fruit keeps the finish fresh. The wine is of mid weight and the alcohol is balanced. Oak gives spice to the finish, but it ends with juicy, fresh, elegant blackcurrant." - 04/23 DCAMW
