Expert tasting note: (2012 vintage) "Deep, rich yellow color. Restrained buttery aromas have lemony overtones. The palate is rich with soft acidity & notes of butterscotch & cream. There are almond/marzipan flavors and textures. The wine is full bodied and rounded with the oak completely integrated with the fruit. The finish is rich with notes of citrus peel on a long pungent finish. Fully mature. not the finest Corton-Charlemagne but solid & satisfying with good depth of fruit." - 04/23 DCAMW
